SUMMARY:Greetings From the Old West: Colorado Ghost Towns
DESCRIPTION:Lost mines\, abandoned diggings\, ghost towns…\n\nThe very
words conjure enigmatic images of the Old West. And the hotels and saloons
that yet stand bear silent testimony to that fabled past ~ when prospectors
came to gamble\, find and lose a fortune\, or die without revealing the
location of a rich and elusive mine. Their tales continue to fascinate and
intrigue. And even haunt us.\n\nJoin us for an evening of multimedia
discovery as we explore both famous and little-known legends from beyond
 Colorado's vanished frontier.\n\nAbout the Presenter\n\nWriter-Director
Ethan Knightchilde has been exploring and researching Old West ghost towns
for over 25 years. His Best Documentary Award-winning film Ghosts of the
West: The End of the Bonanza Trail sold out movie theaters from Phoenix to
Fort Collins between 2012 and 2014\, and he is currently at work on the
next installment of the series\, Ghosts of the West: Stampede on the
Bonanza Trail. His books\, Ghosts of the West: Tales and Legends from the
Bonanza Trail and Tales from the Haunted West\, are sold by prestigious
retailers such as the National Mining Museum in Leadville and the Marshall
Gold Discovery and Bodie State Historic Parks in California.
