Genealogy Basics: Getting Started With Your Family History Search In-Person

Have you ever wanted to learn more about your ancestors? For example, could you be descended from someone who served in the American Revolution?

As a follow-up to Genealogy Basics: Exploring Your American Revolutionary War Roots, and in partnership with the Estes Park Genealogical Society, genealogical researchers Bob Leavitt and Dot Dorman will hold a workshop to help you discover and fill in the missing pieces of your family history. They'll show you how to use online tools such as Ancestry.com and FamilySearch.org, as well as the DAR.org and SAR.org websites discussed in the earlier program. If you'd like to get started on your family history and pick up genealogy research tips, this workshop is for you! We'll go over the basics, and experienced researchers will be on hand to provide 1-on-1 assistance.

Seating is limited, so please register to attend.
