A Trail to Two Peaks In-Person

For Maker March, join CSU graduate student James Relton as he discusses the making of the East Longs Peak Trail and contrasts the experience of ascending Longs Peak with that of its neighbor, Mount Meeker. Comparing these two hiking experiences highlights the role of trails and decisions around them, and complicates the simple divide between frontcountry and backcountry. Bring your questions and your experiences hiking these two jewels of Rocky Mountain National Park!

Space is limited, so registration is strongly encouraged to help us plan seating.
