Adult One-Shot RPG Night: Pirate Borg In-Person

This guided experience blends storytelling, character development, and interactive role play in a respectful, judgment-free environment designed for adults. These one-session campaigns will prioritize communication, critical thinking, and imagination. And we'll provide pizza!

For March, we will dive into Pirate Borg, a self-contained rules-light role-playing game for running swashbuckling campaigns. Pirate Borg is fun, easy to learn, potentially deadly, and perfect for Old School Renaissance/NuSR style one-shots and for campaigns that focus more on player agency and smart decisions and less on character optimization and “what’s on my character sheet."

Since character creation has been optimized for random generation, we will start with premade characters and unfurl our sails into the high seas.

Whether it’s your first role-playing game or you have played many times, this event is a wonderful opportunity to play a unique game while connecting with other community members. Game rules are set to respect boundaries and encourage new players for mutual enjoyment.

Space is limited, so please register to attend.
