Storytelling Workshop: Neighbors In-Person
We all have stories to tell. This workshop, led by Lea Colvill, is an introduction to storytelling from your own lived experience. With the help of various narrative strategies, each participant will learn to craft a roughly five-minute true story — spoken or written — from their own life. To ground the workshop, we'll focus on the theme of "neighbors," very loosely defined:
- When did you need a neighbor?
- When were you a neighbor to someone else?
- What does being a neighbor mean to you?
No experience is necessary; bring some ideas, or we'll help you brainstorm. In March, we'll offer participants the opportunity to share their stories with fellow community members.
