Navigation Apps 101

Navigation Apps 101 In-Person

When out on a hike, how often do you ask yourself, “How much further to the summit?

After this clinic, we hope you’ll never have to ask this question on the trail again.

Join us for an informative session on navigation skills using apps on the trail. Learn about each app type, choose the one best for you, and experiment with GPS mapping tools on your computer or phone. This will be mostly a workshop format with time for individual questions and troubleshooting. Some mapping options to consider include: Gaia, CalTopo, OnX Backcountry, AllTrails+, and COtrex.

Please bring a laptop or smartphone to access digital mapping apps and/or websites. WiFi will be available at the Library.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your outdoor adventures!

Advance registration helps us ensure adequate seating, so please register here. Questions? Email education@RMConservancy.org or call 970-586-3262.
