Pieces of Our Place: Community Collage

Pieces of Our Place: Community Collage In-Person

Join us in the Library's Makerspace for a creative program inspired by the theme “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” Patrons are invited to explore what it means to be a neighbor—sharing stories, values, interests, and identities—through art.

Using a variety of materials, including magazine photos, paint, paper, and other mixed media, participants will create a collage that represents them and their connection to their community. No artistic experience is required; all supplies will be provided in a welcoming, supportive space.

Completed collages will be displayed in the Library, forming a colorful portrait of our neighborhood. Come create, reflect, and help show what makes our community a great place to belong!
