Young Colorado Aviators In-Person
Prepare for takeoff as we learn about young people who contributed to Colorado's aviation history, like Frank and Jules VanDersarl, who, as teenagers, built a plane and flew on to the pages of the Colorado history books.
For the brave aviators who join us, we will build our own planes from paper and balsa wood to learn how a wing glides through the air.
Colorado Aviation History is proudly on display at the Smithsonian, where the VanDersarl Bleriot preserves the daring ingenuity of these youth for future generations.
