Composition: Take Better Photos with Your Phone

Composition: Take Better Photos with Your Phone In-Person

Join us for another hands-on workshop led by local fine art photographer Shawn Whitney, designed to help you take better photos using your phone. Whether you're capturing everyday moments or exploring your creative side, this program will teach you essential techniques to elevate your smartphone photography skills.

You will learn and practice some of the strategies professional photographers use to create stunning images without having to purchase expensive gear. We'll explore how an understanding of composition, including symmetry and frame-within-the frame can turn an ordinary photo into something truly eye-catching.

This program is part of our "Back to Basics" series, offering practical, inspiring experiences that support lifelong learning. Through photography, you’ll not only improve your technical skills but also discover new ways to observe, appreciate, and connect with your everyday surroundings.

Bring your phone and curiosity - no experience necessary!

Note: Attendance of the August Perspectives class is not a pre-requisite of this session.
