Maker March: Book Boxes In-Person
In this hands-on Makerspace workshop, start with a pre-cut book box and then customize it using the laser cutter. Whether you're looking to personalize the box with intricate patterns, lettering, or a custom graphic, this class will guide you through the process.
Library staff will provide a step-by-step overview of how to safely operate the laser cutter, covering essential skills such as uploading designs, adjusting settings, and understanding the machine's safety protocols. By the end of the session, you'll have a unique, custom book box to take home and you'll also be certified to independently use the Makerspace laser cutter for future projects.
